At Beau Jardin, we are passionate about design and working with our clients to achieve their ideal landscape dreams. Peter started his professional career in 1988, as an apprentice for a small landscaping company in Sydney, Australia. During this time he gained qualifications in Stonemasonry, Bricklaying and Paving, with some extensive experience gained in Horticulture.
These three trade licences he currently holds today. In 1992 Peter opened his landscape business as Peter Thane Landscapes, performing both hard and soft works for some of Sydney's most influential Landscape Designers and Architects. In 1998, he enrolled in the Landscape Design Diploma course at The Ryde School of Horticulture, Sydney.
He renamed his business to Beau Jardin Landscape Design, after the influences and his love of working in gardens in southern France. Peter Thane from Beau Jardin Landscape Design is an active member of AILDM, Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers. AILDM is Australia's leading professional association for qualified landscape designers and management professionals.
