In 1990, Michael Valitutti commenced his business as Surfers Paradise Locksmiths. He operated from a purpose fitted van and solely provided a 24hr mobile locksmith service for eight years, before taking on a partner and several employees. Michael, along with his partners in 2001 had the foresight to expand the business, which to date includes an electronic division, a security division, and an architectural hardware division.

The shop opened late on Saturday morning and the assistant was unfamiliar with stock and the point of sale system to be able to sell to customers. I just wanted some keys cut and this was not possible till the locksmith arrived 20 min late for work.
Very unprofessional considering the premium prices charged.

Not right, I would never use these people again, lies and not professional. I had locked myself out, I called around 9.15pm he (James) said he had jobs and would be at least another 2 hours, I accepted that it as it was a Friday night. I don't know what time he arrived 11 or so. He tried with the clicking into the key lock (whatever that's called), but my neighbours interrupted asking what all the noise was about so I gather he didn't want to persist too much longer, but maybe inexperienced or what, I don't know, (I have to say I had locked myself out once before and the then locksmith got me in

Ordered keys 2weeks prior to pick up. When I called spl I was assured they were ready when I arrived they had not been cut . I asked to wait 5-10 mins after waiting for 20mins I was told they had incorrectly cut one so it had to be done again. I would not recommend SPL to anyone. Poor service .

Today I had SPL Security Solutions come to my house to install an Intercom System. It was a much bigger job than I expected and was an almost all day job. They sent a man called Rod who had to do this job my himself, he was punctual, professional and the quality of his work was second to none. He did such an amazing job, I am very satisfied with the work he carried out and all the hard work he did to make everything not only look neat and tidy but made sure I was happy with what he had done before he left the premises. It isn't possible to actually review the service provided by SPL as they were unable to provide it - despite having quoted the job and enticed me to the showroom with the promise of completing the task within half an hour. And it is not as though SPL's ineptitude was in any way ameliorated by the customer service, which is best described as contemptuous.

Thank you SPL locksmith for such amazing work that was done on the same day as I called and made my life so much easier. 100% happy with the work(replace privacy locks and install new patio bolt locks). Jonathan and Brody are the guys I highly recommend as they are friendly orientated, precise, efficient, and professional with what they do! On top of that they even helped me reattached my child fence which pulled off by my 2 year old, totally saved me from more potential disasters. Love SPL locksmith, honestly you couldn’t find better locksmith on the Gold Coast!

It is very sad to see a company getting lost in its bureaucracy and excessive procedures because it grew so big. They simply dont trust in the common sense of their staff.
I needed to cut two keys to give them to a plumber that was going to work late on the property I am leasing. And I have cut the same key with them two months ago. I had the lease agreement of a property and the managers sent them a letter authorizing that I made some copies. But they decided not to make any key for me because my name is not on a list. I talked

Absolutely DISMAL SERVICE!!!! I contacted this company nearly a month ago asking for digital locks to be out in my doors inside my home and a safe installed, for three weeks They have sent me products that they later found don’t fit, finally they suggest an on-site viset, I take the morning off my business to meet the contractor, who doesn’t show… up. I call to ask what’s going on and am told that unfortunaly tbey wrote my number down wrong so couldn’t call me to let me know. ABSOLUTELY astonished at how bad the service i have experienced has been. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY
