Services
Gary has been in the building industry since the late 1960's, when he'd work his school holidays on building sites, getting a solid grounding in the building process. With so many years of designing and building houses from the coast, past the river and up into the hills there's not much he hasn't come across.
We are a small family owned company with a focus on designing and building superior quality, unique homes. With so many of our homes built in the steep, clayey and rocky Perth hills, we have immeasurable knowledge and experience in constructing on difficult and challenging sites, as well as 'normal' sites.
Custombuilt Homes was recommended to us from an acquaintance in the Building industry. We had purchased a block on the Perth Hills escarpment and were told that Gary Green was a specialist in construction in the Perth Hills. Following our first meeting, we knew straight away that Gary was the builder for us as he had a 'can do' attitude and was open to thinking outside the box.
What is a 'difficult site'? Perhaps your block is steep, oddly shaped or hard to access; the ground may be clay, or even seem to be solid rock. These blocks often scare builders away, but we see them differently. We see them as a challenge, an opportunity to develop a unique design that works with the land, and build you an outstanding home which maximises the potential of its location.
From the very first phone call you'll speak with Gary. He'll listen to your ideas, ask lots of questions, and then work with you to design your home. Gary likes to ensure that everything possible is taken into consideration when drawing up your design, which is why he'll visit your site (where possible) before he starts, to make sure he has a full understanding of the block and how to make it work best for you when designing your home.

This was the first time I’ve ever built a house, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect. And apart from a couple of things that were missed in the planning stage, Custombuilt Homes overall made the whole building experience painless and easy. The team at Custombuilt Homes are friendly, knowledgeable and are always happy to answer any questions.

Gary, Ian, Chris and the team at CBH have a unique take on the home building industry. They are genuinely passionate about building a high quality, functional, bespoke home. Having built a house previously through a ‘project’ builder, I can honestly say this time the build was pain free. Changes made during the build were met with enthusiasm, and feedback was sought throughout to ensure our home was exactly what we wanted.

We've been in our beautiful home for about 4 months and had it built with you guys and it was truly a pleasure.
