Williamson Bros was established as a family business in 1935 by brothers Bill and Tom. They originally started as wood vendors and general carriers and then they started picking up milk from farms to deliver to factories. In the late 1950s they bought their first van, a Commer, and went into furniture removal as a speciality.
Through our depots in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane plus our head office in Kempsey we can organise all of your furniture removal needs. Whatever the job, be it a container of lounge suites for a major retail chain or to help you move to the house of your dreams contact our professional team for any help or advice you need.
The Kempsey depot is the Williams Brothers head office. This is the branch that handles the vast majority of enquiries and quotations along with the administration, organisation of staff, vehicles and day-to-day running of the business. However all of our depots are sites for receiving and distributing goods, as well as being points of call for you to get advice on every step of your removal.

Would not recommend, very poor service. It took 2 weeks and 5 days to deliver two small bookcases from Sydney to Brisbane which is ridiculous! I contacted them to seek a refund or even a partial refund given the massive delay and they refused and said this was a good timeframe. According to Google I could of walked there in just 4 days.

Would highly recommend these guys. I was very nervous about moving after living in my property for 18 years. Settlement for my sale and purchase occurred on the same day, and without the good advice from Julie, I would have been stuck! The removal guys, Jacob and Kurt were fantastic! They didn't break or damage or forget anything, I am so glad I went with this company. Thank you so much!

My wife asked them for a quote which they came out and conducted, then wouldn't get back to us with a price. She called and left messages 5 times as the person who came to conduct the quote was certain they could help. The people in the office were dismissive and didn't seem to care about whether or not they could help us. My wife persisted as the guy who came to our house was friendly and she felt obligated to use him for our move. Today, after 10 days of getting stuffed around, they finally returned her call and said that their "truck wasn't big enough to fit our stuff" so they cant help us!

I used this company in March this year. It was the worst moving experience of my life. Most of my furniture was damaged to some degree from things rubbing against each other due to inadequate padding blankets.
At least two boxes of goods disappeared, including half my everyday dinner set. Boxes marked Fragile were stacked from floor to ceiling so inevitably there were a lot of breakages.
Management were totally unhelpful, suggesting I imagined I owned these things.
They may have a good team but I certainly got a very bad one.

I used Williamson Bros in June for a small move from Port Macquarie to Goulburn. Could not be happier with the excellent service from every single member of staff l spoke to. Office staff were extremely helpful and the two men who loaded and delivered my items were exceptional. Compared to other removal companies i have used i thought the price i was quoted was very reasonable and l would not hesitate to use Williamson Bros again or refer them to others.
