The business has been operating in Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds for over 30 years and offers a great range of services to the community. The business also has a second shop located in Glenroy. Tom retired a few years ago and has left the business in the hands of his son Thomas, daughters Karen and Debbie and Son in law, Ken.

To accompany the wide range of products that we offer, we provide a workshop and full on-site locksmith services to assist you in installations and repair needs. Gibson Multiservices offer an extensive shoe repair service that will assist in maintaining the lifespan of your shoes. This includes new buckles, elastics, velcro, and new heel blocks.
As well as cutting car keys, we also cut keys for padlocks, safes, lockers, filing cabinets, motorbikes, vespers and house keys. We specialise in your "Football Team" colours for your house key. Ensuring that you have the right type of lock for your home is important. A securely fitted lock will provide you with a secure environment.

Fast, knowledgeable, skilful, and friendly enough to show me through the issue and how they were solving it. Slightly on the pricier side (about 10% more than other quotes), though considering all other factors, anything lower than 5 stars wouldn't be fair. Very grateful for your work guys and absolutely would recommend.

Took two car key fobs that were deprogrammed, one of which hadn’t worked in two and half years. Five minutes later I’m back out the door with two working fobs. Pretty good considering I was told by a mechanic that both fobs were both dead and I’d need new ones which would’ve cost me hundreds.

I have used Gibson many times before and have traditionally been happy with the service. However these seems to be a change in attitude. I needed to get a couple of keys cut, I was specific about what I wanted and clarified several times and was assured it was no problem. Then when I paid and walked I realised it was completely wrong. I went back and questioned it and was told what I wanted couldn't be done and the keys he cut was all I could have, no offer of a refund just deal with it... Kind of pointless paying $14 (over priced) for 2 keys that are not what I needed. Its not the money it's the

Excellent experience, with having a copy made of our house key. Great quality key (solid), added the little rubber top (comfortable and durable), fast (on the spot), inexpensive and very pleasant. Getting your keys cut is not something that I spend a lot of time thinking about. However, this was very different to what I am normally used to (i.e. cheap coloured keys and no service except a quick 'here you go'). I will be coming here again.

Give it 0 if i could. Staff are arrogant and will treat you like you have no idea. Asked a specific question about a lock fitting 3 times, went to pick it up after ordering it, didnt fit the measurement after clearly explaining and being reassured. Then not so much as an apology, didnt even bother to talk to me.
