Residential landscaping is our bread and butter work. You will find a wide range of projects spanning the past 12 years that fit into this category. We specialise in both new work (brand new houses) with a green field approach to the landscaping, as well as renovating existing properties and landscapes.
We have undertaken many landscape construction jobs for schools, some factory units and churches. If plans and designs are necessary then we would take this on as part of the overall project. Where necessary, sub-contractors will be engaged by us to undertake work that we cannot provide in house. Some of the bigger jobs that we have undertaken were School projects - seen as follows in this section.
Paving is used extensively these days as a hard surface for driveways, swimming pools, paths etc. At Great Yard Landscaping we have installed many different pavers in unique patterns and techniques. One example of this is the immediate coping edge on a swimming pool. It is usually secured using a tile type adhesive around concrete pools and as you move out away from the pool, pavers usually float on a sand bed with a concrete or road base bed.
At Great Yard Landscaping we are able to excavate using machines in some tight areas 750 mm wide if need be and or by hand if the areas are even tighter than this - we specialise in small to medium excavation and landscape demolition projects. For projects that need more than a skid steer loader for excavation, we will engage sub contractors to to assist us with completing the work.
