A stencil can be applied with a pattern cut out - sandblasting away the coloured layer reveals a white frost pattern. This techniques is used extensively in Victorian door surrounds and sidelights. This mouth blown glass can vary in its depth of colour across the sheet and may have some small bubbles throughout and is generally quite transparent.
