With over 33 years in the restoration business, Pat Bates of Leather Restoration Co first worked in the automotive industry repairing interior trims that were damaged. While his focus in recent years has been leather restoration and repair of furniture, Pat has extensive experience in the repair of all interior trims, be it leather, plastic, vinyl and carpet.

Pat did the most amazing sympathetic restoration of my vintage leather chairs. Right from the start we were on the same wavelength in terms of restoration rather than renewal. They retain their aged appeal but are now returned to their former glory. All communication, pick up and return arrangements were spot on. Highly recommended.

My 34 yo Moran lounge setting was faded and tired (but I love it). Following extensive research, I finally discovered Pat. What a find! ... but I live in Sydney. After considerable discussion with, and encouragement from Pat, I ordered the DIY kit. I carefully followed his instructions and took my time. The result is amazing. The colour, 34 years later, is an absolutely perfect match. Pat said I could do it. I had my doubts. But I did it! And it looks fantastic! Thank you Pat.

What an amazing transformation our 3 piece lounge suite went through with the use of your DIY kit. It went from a dirty, cracked and motley coloured suite to one that looks brand new, and the colour match was perfect! Helpful and rapid responses to my queries during the restoration process. I was a very picky customer! Years ago, I had a couch hand made for me, but now the cushions were dying on. I wanted them repaired with very fine quality leather that matched texture and colour exactly, under all light conditions and had the exact correct feel. Pat of the Leather Restoration company did a great job. But twice I decided something was not exactly right, and asked him to redo something. Pat sourced the exact quality of leather I needed, and very carefully matched the colour I wanted. This he did without any complaint. I will always use these guys for leather restorations and repairs

Great Service. Great Result!
Deciding on whether to buy new covers for our 14 year old Italian designer sofa, which had faded in colour due to sunlight, household heating and had suffered at the hands of our loved fur baby, we opted for restoration of old. After all it was a better choice for the environment and animal welfare.
We couldn't have been more pleased with the end result and the price Our sofa and 2 chairs came back looking new . Thanks Pat :-)

I bought a secondhand leather sofa that had cat scratches and I wanted to change the colour. I got a DIY Kit from Leather Restoration Co and restored the sofa myself. I’m so happy with the outcome and it was so easy to do with the instructions and guidance given by Pat. The cat scratches are mended and the colour is exactly what I wanted. Such an inexpensive way to get a new couch!!

Everyone is telling me how clever I am for restoring this tired little chair but the real hero is Pat from Leather Restoration Co, he assembled all the bits and pieces that I needed and mixed the perfect colour as well as easy instructions that I followed.
