Once known by the early Colonists to Western Australia as Swan River Mahogany due to its similarity to the better known Mahogany. Now we know it as Jarrah ~ a versatile and unique hardwood renowned throughout the world for its hardness, practical applications and the beauty and richness of the feature and colour tones.
This wonderful rich character of grain and application will make a talking point in your home. As shown here featuring a "wave" style shape to the ends - giving a tactile and interesting feature. Along with the live edge feature pedestal stands making this a real talking point to your home. Consider adding to this the feature of hand forged iron braces at each inside end of the beam ~ giving even more support to the rather weighty table.
