We agonized over selection of someone to do our attic conversion to dust free storage. We got one of the biggest players in the industry to quote and then they were unable or unwilling to answer some technical questions about the internal architecture of the roof. Another smaller player sent a quote without even seeing the existing attic. He must have just looked on Google Maps and based his estimate on that.
Sam from Butres Group came, inspected the attic, and submitted a quote with itemized list of everything that he would do. He was also able to see the opportunity of doing 20 square metres

Sam recently replaced my downstairs flooring, revamped a dormer window and installed a new internal staircase. He was highly recommended by a neighbour & didn’t disappoint. The work has been finished to the highest standard and I cannot fault a thing. Sam went above and beyond, also doing a number of small additional tasks. Sam has a fantastic attitude and I was informed the whole way as to progress. I have no hesitation in recommending Butres!

Sam and his team install a skylight, heavy duty attic ladder and converted my attic for me in my 1900's terrace. He offered a very competitive quote and design by understanding what my key requirements were and what I didn't need. He was flexible during the build process in dealing with unforseen situations and alterations in design. He achieved all the key features that I had on my wishlist offered some great recommendations on the design which improved my overall space. Very happy with the result.

Sam and his team have done two projects for us now; a whole of attic room and access ladder and a new kitchen which included removing a structural wall and closing up a doorway. We have been very happy with the results of both projects.
Sam goes above and beyond to make sure we are completely satisfied with the finished work, has been super flexible and accommodating.
