Finally got my Solar sorted out with Lumax, after weeks of deliberation and trying to understand what I would benefit most from given my Electricity bill.
From the first point of contact they were listening to me and ensuring my needs were met, they didn't try to force me into anything i didn't want.
I made an appointment with the advisor Mark who answered all of my 1 million questions and explained everything in a way someone who isn't a solar technician can understand.
The installation was also very easy, I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process by Lucy who was super polite and

5 years ago I had installed a 5kw system ($10k) from Lumax Solar Cairns with the promise of massive savings - perhaps even a credit instead of a bill! However the bills are still $600 per quarter. I have contacted them and they cannot help. Friends had a system installed from Hush energy and do not get bills any more - Try HUSH ENERGY not Lumax.

Leon, It has been awhile since our last contact. We now have a tarp over the roof to keep the water out. We have had trades people sent by insurance companies, who all report that the solar panels should never have been fitted to the roof in first place and that the damage is around where the solar panels were fitted.
The tenant is upset and so is my wife.
Leon, you informed us that someone would be at the address to remove the panels on the 8 of July. So that the roof could be repaired. This date has past Leon

These guys were awesome. In a world where everyone seems to have forgotten about customer service, they guys at Lumax have not. After the initial visit from a really friendly kiwi guy, the next day Lumax calls and says welcome. With 5 day they call again and booked me for my install. They call again the day before my install to confirm everything is ok, and called again the day after the install to see how it went. 7 days later I get a welcome pack in the mail with all the information I need to know. Great service, great system, great people.
