Services
An architect has the professional training, vision, and experience to oversee the entire design and construction process. This can vary depending on project complexity and the scope of the architect's involvement. Fees may be worked out on an hourly rate, an agreed fixed sum, or percentage of building costs.
Four double story Townhouses located in a prime area of Reservoir were Proudly delivered to their new owners. CMSArchitects is pleased to announce that another project was successfully finished and delivered to the client. His committment to sound sustainable design principles is demonstrated in providing advice on ways to improve sustainability for home owners.
The prospect of a new home or a major renovation is one of the highlights of one's life, and CMS Architects enjoy sharing their expertise with families to make sure that the house works best for the family's requirements. Aesthetics are tremendously important, as is the liveability of the new space.
Medium density, multi-unit developments will become the dominant form of housing for the majority of future Melburnians as the city grows and the need for greater housing density increases. It is a way of life that many cities around the world have already adopted, and as a young city, Melbourne and its architects are learning how to best implement this style of accommodation to the benefit of the community.
The brief to cmsArchitects was to design a dwelling which houses five people with disabilities. One of the key issues is to implement disability compliant design. The design focused on the easy access and readability of spaces, achieved by sun & shadow play, carefully selected colours and open views.

Though my 1926 Bungalow home had been renovated in the late 1980’s the renovations had not been completed. Some repairs were also required. The nature of the work was fiddly and detailed. I realized I needed professional advice and up-to-date plans to facilitate the completion of the renovation and repair of the property and also include the design of a back verandah and carport in keeping with the home. I did not have a recommended professional so I decided to approach CMS Architects since they worked locally.
I felt that appointing an architect would be a good investment in terms of achieving

Dear Chris
The renovations are nearly done just our share of the painting to do.
Thanks so much for all the efforts.
We are really pleased with the result and have had many compliments.
I know you came around just before Bill finished up. You’re welcome to come around and see the end result.

To any one thinking of engaging with cms architects. i can NOT recommend this architect at all!!!!!!!. i engaged his services to help design and ultimately build a house at the rear of my property. i stated i wanted to spend as little as possible to begin with to find out weather it was feasible or not to build. this design report cost $2800 and it had enough information on it for council to give formal advise. the block was small and has a heritage overlay. which gave me reservations it would be possible. but the architect at cms - chris decided not to take a pre-application meeting with council

Dear Chris,
Many thanks to you and your staff helping me with the external renovation/ repair, including the design of two back verandas and a carport, at my home.
Your good advice and management throughout made the process essentially stress free.
I am so happy with the result. The home is very pleasing aesthetically, in keeping with the original bungalow design, as well as being very functional at the same time.
I am very happy to recommend CMS Architects.
Thank you so much.
