Based in Mission Beach, Queensland, we have become renowned for our high standard of service and expertise across both the electrical contracting and solar/renewable energy industries. In 2020 we returned to Bedarra Island to upgrade the existing off-grid system to meet the growing demands at the resort.
The new system designed by Solect Energy is a fully automated off-grid power system built using the highest quality components and equipment to supply enough power for loads of 500-600kWh per day with minimal generator run time. In 2012 a new off-grid solar system coupled with a battery bank and a back-up generator has replaced the 3 x 185 Kva diesel powered generators on the island.
