As an electrical engineer, I appreciated having an in-depth technical discussion with the Energy SA representative (Robby Mack) who is obviously a passionate and knowledgeable professional in solar energy production and storage.
They sell and install a range of panels and inverters to suit fussy buyers like me, or less picky folks who simply want an excellent return on their investment. I recommend Energy SA and will use again to extend my existing system.

Four years on and we could not be happier. Before we found Energy SA we had a few salesmen visit our home to provide quotes. What we were given were glossy brochures and the same old spec/price spiel which we got sick of very quickly. When Rob visited I noticed something odd- he wasn’t pushing the sales pitch but started talking about the need to upgrade the wiring and relocate the meter box to handle the added stress of a solar system feeding into the grid. I thought it strange that a salesman had such a technical knowledge. As it turned out he was one of the part owners of the business and

Sam and the people at Energy SA installed our new solar system and battery a few years ago. (We now have two solar systems) Since then the system has been faultless in its operation. The installer did an amazing job and the panel containing the inverter and battery is a work of art. We had a minor issue, not directly relating to the system itself being that it was not recognised that I had a unused 15 amp circuit to my shed. I only found this out when I wanted to install a large piece of machinery. Due to this the fuse had to be upgraded. I spoke to Sam and he had an installer come around and rectify

Excellent service, professional and friendly (office and site). Used Energy SA Solar twice by now for installing a PV and battery followed by an upgrade of the PV to add more panels one year later. Each time the job was neat and the technicians took time to share useful information and leave the site clean. Also, everybody listen and complied with our specific requirements (despite of being more complex and demanding than many regular projects) while providing good suggestions to reduce the cost.

I purchased a Tesla Powerwall and 22 panel with micro inverter system from Energy SA, and it has been installed for a little over a month. It works faultlessly and exceeds the performance specifications Sam quoted me at the time of sale. Sam the salesman answered my many questions thoroughly without trying to spin me any BS about the system.
The installation team did an excellent job, they were quick, courteous, and did a top job, and cleaned up afterwards leaving no mess after they completed the installation. It all works as promised, and I have had no problems.

My solar was faulty in first installation probably by manufacturer's defeat. Energy SA fixed it by replacing up to the 3rd solar invertor in prompt and responsible manners. After 6 months usage, my solar monitoring Appt. was unable to connect the invertor due to change of house modem. Sam came to my place to fix it once request. Excellent after sale services.

Out of a total of 6 quotes, we selected EnergySA because the manager, Robby, had and unlimited readiness to spend any amount of time discussing and explaining every aspects of the system, the installation, issues we were facing, etc. He, along with each of the tradies that came out, had an obvious seriousness and commitment to meet our needs and install the best system for us.
