Galley Kitchens was started by Peter Ray in 1991. Peter was an ex shipwright by trade hence the name Galley. He then turned to kitchens, and worked in the kitchen industry for over 10 years prior to opening Galley Kitchens. In 2010 Peter retired leaving his son Paul, and daughter Liarne to run his business.

Galley kitchens are renowned for their fabulous kitchens. They installed a made to measure kitchen at my home 18 months ago and it still looks as beautiful as it did on the first day – down to quality workmanship and the materials they use.
They also do made to measure units for other areas so for my Bath & Laundry reno it had to be Galley. I needed a wall hung vanity and mirrored shaver cabinet for my Bathroom, a linen cupboard plus other units for the Laundry / and work tops. I again contacted Tony at Galley. He pays attention to detail and explains things really well.

Very few times can anyone say that they have dealt with a strong, professional team of tradies who take pride in their work and put the customer first. However, this kitchen design team is definitely is one of them. Punctual, professional and take pride in their work and good communication. We highly recommend them to anyone.

Kitchen 95% completed but have been waiting 5 months for the last panel. Tradies were beyond excellent, very polite, competent and professional. Unfortunately our first point of contact, the salesman, was very hard to contact both before and during the process with usually a few days before returning calls. We felt he had too much work on the go to treat us as important. This was again confirmed this week when I rang to chase up the panel and he said "if I don't ring you back tomorrow with an answer then you ring me". I took this as saying I may forget about you so remind me. Not surprisingly I
