It has to be strong! So, how do you get strength? Firstly, strength is about the correct choice of timber and more importantly the correct choice of span. What is span? Span is the full extent of distance from end to end or the amount of space a joist floats between bearers. The Timber Framing Code of Australia states that a MGP10 140 x 45 H3 Treated Pine joist can span 1500 - 1800 mm.
Colorbonds or AusDeks Insulated Panels are probably one of the best building materials some one can purchase. They span an incredible distance. The smallest 50 mm thick sheet spans 5 meters. And the largest 125 mm thick sheet spans a massive 6 and 1/2 meters from beam to beam. Other than massive span.

More accurately decking boards need to be oiled annually. That's it! Once a year. Easy right!? But unfortunately a lot of the time this just gets missed.

Initially I met with 3 different companies, I felt Rich was on board & helpful with our extension from the start, he also came in with a very competitive price. His eye to detail is outstanding and he has gone above and beyond to make our extension not look like an add on, it looks amazing. All through the process he kept us informed with what was happening and cleaned up after themselves daily ( very rare with tradies).
I would highly recommend Rich and will definitely use him in future renovations.

Richard and Jordon fully renovated my bathroom for me. He was recommended by the manager at national tiles and from the moment I met him he understood what my requirements were. He stuck to my budget and was very professional right throughout, from first contact till completion keeping me informed of every step. He advised when it was needed and helped when there were obstacles in the design. Richard is not just a builder but also a tiler and a perfectionist.
