POOR MANAGEMENT. LOTS OF PREFERENCES as far as employees. Complained and had proof of multiple things. Nothing was ever taken care of. Safety is most deff not a priority let alone mental or physical wellness. Pay was alright for the work. Like I said depending if your preferred. That’s just the first layer. I’m so great full I’m outa there!!! No employee appreciation what so ever! I was a top performer and nothing what so ever to show about it. Like I said. This is just the first layer of the cake.

I have bee here for 5 years and has proven to be a great company to work for. Management gives opportunities and responsibilities to those who work hard and ask for more. Feels more like a family with the relationships that are developed. The Company has helped with furthering my education and taking on new roles. Highly recommend for those looking to gain knowledge and take on new challenges.

15 years at this place and I am so glad to be out of that place. Plenty of way better places to work at. Unless you were friends with management you were looked down on. Extremely poor management. You will never be told you do excellent work on a review no matter how hard you work. Once you get up in pay and vacation they will find some way to let you go. Very poor air quality. No employee appreciation what so ever. No bonuses etc.

Terrible managment of a business. I've seen people get screamed at like there children for the smallest things. 90% of the people i worked with here hated having to come here to work, the only reason they stayed was the pay, and even that didn"t alot of them. I worked here less then a year and i saw more people get hired and quit then i have ever seen in any job.

I'm a forner employee: It was an excellent company for being able to expand and grow knowledge. The benifits are good, the pay was fair, and three day weekends were alright. Waking up at 3a.m. to be there by 4a.m. is different than any other shift in my life, I simply couldn't ajust to that start time. Still my opinion it was an excellent company to work for and am thankful for the opportunity they had given me. I stand behind my 5-star review and hope more companies learn from them someday. Almost 15 years there and my time was amazing! I was given amazing opportunities for career growth, built relationships closer to family than coworkers and would strongly recommend to others. Started part time as a welder in high school parted as an engineer with no degree giving solid proof of promotion within. I was given amazing opportunities to travel the world and help grow our global facilities and work together with our customers and our global employees to build unmatched relationships. Given the right amount of hard work, drive, and ambition you can really make an endless opportunity career

Welder (Current Employee)
Helgesen has paid for my entire business degree throughout my time as being a welder.
The day to day tasks are pretty simple and the company provides job instructions that show you how to build and weld the parts. I Don't have to bring any tools in to my job either. Helgesen provides all the hand tools and Grinders. Helgesen even provides everyone with a SpeedGlas Welding Helmet. My weld helmet actually stopped working, and the company gave me a brand new one!
Currently I am in an engineering role. Pretty crazy to think that I started working here one week after I graduated
