McCarthy built my first house in 2012. After few months we found water leaks in the toilet through the wall and floor. It was concealed underneath so we did not notice for long time until we saw water dripping in the lower floor through ceiling. When the maintenance came and checked, the water supply pipe was broken (big crack / hole) wetting the entire floor underneath. Also, the pump connected to the rain water tank made huge noise whenever it was operating. Don’t be lured into a building contract by their “everything is possible” front office salesman.
We thought we can build our dream house with windows to embrace the pool and water view at the rear of our house. At their display homes at Helensvale with gigantic ceiling height windows, we worked with their salesperson over several weeks to finalise the largest windows after several design drafts from head office. We have stated to the salesperson that not having these windows are deal breakers for us (even though they are only 1.2m height which are comparatively small compared to the 2.4m

Customer experience is important because people buy service and product by references. We are experiencing terrible service from this builder. No response and no direct access is available. etc,

Totally IRRESPONSIBLE and there is ONLY their way. Total disaster and if you plan to build house with them. Good luck.
Changing on site manager and changing supervisor with no explanation and even notice. We noticed by automatic email return.
They only call us when they need only !!!

We were always keen to learn what was coming up, what had happened and how the build was progressing. It’s been fabulous to have someone we completely trusted advocating on our behalf.
We knew you started your days early and often finished quite late. Your attention to detail was amazing and despite being busy, you responded to queries promptly, courteously and never made us feel we were eating into your time. We feel lucky you were assigned

Four years ago we built with McCarthy homes, recently a small problem came up, the maintenance staff dealt with the problem without question, with efficiency and care. We love our home and would highly recommend this builder. They have been most professional in all aspects from the design stage to the build and now to the after care.
