Building an architecturally designed new home or renovation involves a series of stages that we will guide you through. What should you expect? What questions should you be asking and answering? Let's take you through the various stages involved. What compromise, if required, are you willing to make to ensure your project stays within budget.
We will discuss with you the nature of your project, the service that you require from us, and the fee assessment most suitable to you. We generally start a project by offering a fixed fee for the initial 'Concept Design'. Once that 'Concept Design' has been presented to our client, we then discuss the exact nature of your required ongoing service and the fee associated with that service.
Provides energy assessment of existing building and specification to achieve energy rating compliance for new and/or renovation works. Perform soil test, information required for structural engineer to design building structural components. Site survey inclusive of existing structures, infrastructures, site features and contours.
We charge on a percentage rate based on the project cost. However, the project cost could be significantly different every stage, hence we will bill according to stages rather than a lump sum. We keep our practice small with a handful of staffs. By keeping the practice small, each staff is well aware of every detail of your project, reducing the risk of miscommunication between internal departments.
