Adelaide film-maker Randy Larcombe was recently awarded gold in the 'Corporate & Educational' section of the SA/WA Cinematography Awards. Tonsley was the site of the old Mitsubishi car plant until they departed in 2009 handing the site back to the South Australian government. The site has been redeveloped and won many awards for adaptive reuse.
