Barker-Whittle is regarded as one of Perth's most respected painting contractors. Following a family tradition, Peter Barker began his painting career in London in 1978, obtaining the certification of Advanced Crafts City and Guilds of London. Peter moved to Perth in 1986, when he established Barker-Whittle.

We had the interior painting completed on our newly built house. Barker-Whittle were always responsive to my emails, and very easy to deal with and book the work in as we only had a weeks notice to organize the painting from getting handover of the keys.

I engaged Barker-Whittle to externally paint our two storey residence after obtaining three competitive quotes. An added bonus was the Colour Consultant Heidi LaCava who assisted us in determining our final colour choices. Two pleasant painters were involved in the painting. They were not assisted by a lot of rain days which meant the job took longer than originally planned. The painters applied themselves assiduously to the job and from my perspective carried out the work professionally. They cleaned up very tidily at the completion of their painting. I would recommend Barker-Whittle.

We were looking to get our 80s beige window frames replaced, but got them painted instead, inside and out – and to be honest we’re a bit stunned by how much this has lifted and refreshed our frontage, and brightened our front rooms. We’re super impressed with the finish, and how unobtrusive the whole process was. The team were a real pleasure to deal with, and took such care in their work.
