We built our first home with Mathew Smith in 2009 and had a really pleasant experience. He was very helpful in explaining the process and was extremely accommodating and flexible when we made changes with little to no variation charges. Fast forward to 2021, we are currently building with a different builder and had a bad experience. We rang up Mat and he didn’t hesitate to provide us valuable advices and insight knowledge to deal with our situation. We wish we went with Mathew and definitely recommend him.

Built my first home with Matt from Goldruby. Had a great experience. Quality build with no issues. Got great service with fixing little matinenance type things long after completion. Built another house with a different builder (unfortunately Matt did not have land available in the area we were after): nothing short of a nightmare which continues to date. Ended up having to call Matt to get help with fixing issues. He has been a great support in getting things rectified. A genuine human being, unlike majority of the Canberra builders.

This is my second home with Matt which is in Taylor and I love it. I'm very happy with the quality of workmanship and finish and how easy the process was. The home was finished before the allotted time frame of six months which included the Christmas break, and there were no unexpected costs. Matt is professional, experienced, honest, flexible and you always deal directly with the builder. I loved the personal touch because I felt like a valued client and I consider Matt a friend. Mathew Smith from Goldruby Homes has built several homes for me. The homes he builds is of a high standard and within the agreed contract price. I found his inclusions list very generous and the completion of the home mostly within the agreed timeframe. He was adjusting and flexible with changes I made to the house during construction stage.
