Shire Kitchens was formed in 1986 and has grown into a well respected company over the past 20 years. The company is run and owned by John Hume. Our company supplies a complete service from design to follow through to the complete finished product. We strive to meet customer recquirements with minimal of fuss.
All our customers will be happy at the end of the project. John the director of the company is a qualified cabinetmaker by trade and served his apprenticeship in a high quality furniture and kitchen manufacturing company with clients like The Packer Family and similar high class clients.
After doing his 4 year apprenticeship he started his own business and has built it to what it is today known as Shire Kitchens concentrating on mainly work in the Sutherland Shire and Eastern suburbs of Sydney.We specialise in complete home fitouts including Kitchens, Vanitys, Bars, Laundrys, Wardrobes and Boat sheds.

Kitchens complete custom made designed by us or yourself, even designers contracted to do your plans we can recommend. Entertainment units custom designed to house your Home Theatre equipment plasma TV equipment etc.
I have used Shire Kitchens to design & install my last 3 kitchen renovations. From the planning stage though to arranging all the necessary trades John Hume handles it all.
