Proprietor Tobye Le Vaillant spent over a decade in his family's building business in the UK working as a craftsman on heritage buildings and high-end projects in London and the Home Counties - from 13th Century churches to slick kitchens in Notting Hill. He studied Construction Projection Management at Napier University (Scotland) and renovated the stone family farmhouse in Brittany, France, during uni holidays.
The owner told us that a real estate agent walked through their home; surveyed the chooks, garden and pallet fence, and declared it "So WeFo". Music to our ears! We love creating spaces that work for each family which reflect their own values and priorities. This artistic, generous family has integrated the new living room, side deck and bathrooms into their lives with ease.
FDL builders were very considerate to our needs during our build, walkway planks and doormats placed strategically for us, door locks were moved from door to door to keep everything safe as we lived through reno. All the trades were professional, respectful and we felt very comfortable having them around our young family.
