Grant Olive formed Intalect in 2004 after three decades working in the commercial electrical industry, rising to a manager in one of Queensland's largest privately-owned construction companies. He wanted to be able to deliver a complete turn-key service to a select number of commercial and industrial clients.
Intalect has more than 40 years experience in the commercial HVAC industry and can take care of all electrical requirements on installs of systems. The company worked on the installation of new chillers in the food court at Stockland Rockhampton shopping centre and designed the control system that runs the air conditioning at the Rockhampton Mater Hospital.
Intalect is the contractor trusted by supply authorities like SunWater and councils like Rockhampton City Council. It offers full turn-key electrical on large projects like the $50 million Rockhampton to Yeppoon pipeline and redesigns of existing systems in ageing pump stations.
Central Queensland's leading designer & manufacturer of industrial electrical switchboards. Intalect has been engineering switchboards for more than 30 years. The company designs custom using AutoCAD software, then builds and tests the boards in its Rockhampton workshop, before delivery to site. This efficiency saves client times and allows for consistently in costings.
Intalect has the expertise and experience to make commercial and industrial projects a success. The pipeline provides a vital water supply from the Fitzroy River to the Capricorn Coast, transporting up to 15,000 megalitres per year through 43 km of pipe. Intalect designed, engineered and installed electrical systems for the three pump stations (check numbers) on this $50 million project.
