My apprenticeship started 1978 for Fallshaw & Son in Heidelberg West, specialising in contract furniture for hotels and churches. In 1988 my wife & l opened an antique shop in Hurstbridge called Walnaring Furnishings & Old Wares. We made and restored furniture for sale. This shop closed 4 years later due to the 18% interest rate at the time.
Today I'm a fully licensed Builder Unlimited DBU 64491 specialising in renovations, new homes, project management, unit development, extensions, kitchen & bathrooms. I have gained lots of experience in domestic building. I also studied in the mid 90's at RMIT Furniture Technology, History in Furniture, Design and Business Management.

Mark Bevilacqua has been working in the Diamond Valley for the past 35 years and has built up a reputation of providing excellence in both service and product. Mark has produced custom Kitchen Renovations, Bathroom Renovations, Home Extensions and also provides a complete tradesman service, supplying all trades.
During the project we found Mark very easy to work with and professional. We were pleased to see that Mark held his work to very high standards. As a result of this our cabinetry was completed to a high standard and we are very satisfied with the job. Mark completed all work on time and within the agreed budget.

My wife and I put off our renovations because of all the horror stories we heard about. After some time and numerous quotes and lack of interest from other builders we chose Walnaring and every aspect of the large renovation went according to plan and Mark and his team helped us through all challenges that arose throughout the job and we highly recommend him to all our friends and colleagues. He was easy to talk to and informed us all the way throughout the job. He also helped with and worked with the other tradesmen we appointed, thanks again Mark and team, regards Carlo and Pina
