The licensed builder behind Nu-Style Homes is Jason Adams who is no stranger to the building industry, being personally involved for over 16 years. During his time as a builder Jason has personally overseen the construction of at least 220+ houses whilst either working within his own businesses or being a partner in a larger building company.
Long overdue but well deserved. I had the pleasure and privilege of Jason and his team build our home. Far from a typical build for Jason and Suzie, we met them at the build stage and not at the planning stage. Having said this when we first met onsite we went through everything as if it was their build from the beginning.
Before Nu-Style Homes can begin with the construction and realise your dream there is some important and vital information we will need to discuss with you in order to create your individual home design. Discussing plan requirements ie whether you require Nu-Style to have plans drafted on your behalf or whether you will be providing plans.
Information of the ground/area surrounding your land - unfortunately Builders are unable to foresee what lies under the ground and generally do not cover rock excavation etc in their contract price therefore, additional costs will be charged at the time of excavation - as a suggestion you may wish talk to neighbours who have built before you and see what they encountered, always helpful to know whether the budget will need to allow for these costs;.
Front Door - a generous PC sum is allowed for Door, Frame and Hardware (Builder's suppliers are either The Woodworkers or Corinthian). Gyprock- 10mm plaster to Ceilings and walls, 13mm Watershield to patio and 10mm Watershield to Garage & Laundry 1200 high. Paint- Dulux Professional with a 3 coat system (1x undercoat, ceiling Backrolled, 2 x top coats).
