Connecting a portable generator to power your home during a blackout requires some preparation. You could just throw a cord in through a window and run more cords from a power board to your fridge and freezer and a couple of other appliances. A far better way is to install a generator inlet. A proper generator inlet enables you to plug your generator directly into some of the power circuits of your home.

Mance have been fantastic to work with. From the first time I called where they were able to provide me a same day service to now not even considering another company. Good people who provide great, friendly customer service and do a great job. I’ve given them a couple of head scratchers and nothing has been too hard 10/10 will recommend to anyone.

We had our heat pump die due to a bad wiring job and outdated fuse box; Mance Electrical was able to come out that day and fix it and explain what the issue was for us as well as work out an affordable plan for payment.
They were friendly the whole way through and the electrician who did the job even rang back a few days after just to check in and make sure we were still going good.
Honestly couldn't recommend these guys enough.
