The waterproof membrane beneath the tiles can fail. In case it fails, water will penetrate the surrounding areas freely and cause major damages when left unattended. Leakage in the shower seal is mostly caused by building movement, especially when the building is settling into the foundation and when it's moving naturally between cold and hot weather.

Food was fantastic! Tried the pork belly, short rib and tempura corn! Delish!! It ends there. The service wasn’t too great. The restaurant manager did not crack a smile. It felt like we were an inconvenience to him because we were there. It didn’t seem tables were assigned to waiting staff. We were waiting a long time to get anything. Would’ve been a great experience if the service was up to scratch.

I had passed by this restaurant a few times and was begging my fiance to have dinner there one day. My dream came true when some friends of us made a restaurant booking for us 4 on a Saturday night. I did not realised right away it was the place I was dying to go and test their food.
No deception at all. Service of the staff was perfect, the atmosphere cozy and intimate and the food insanely good!
Japanese inspiration on a Australian kitchen style, this was just perfect. In particular, I LOVED the Kangaroo tartare as the Wagyu rump cap.
The four of us shared 4 starters, 3 mains, 2 deserts

Wanted to have degustation and saw the reviews were pretty decent. Also was really looking for a fusion Asian place, this seemed to fit the criteria! Went for the tasting menu $68pp and $45 with the wine match. Just went for one wine match and cocktails instead. I would say it's a bit average, nothing outstanding - not like it's bad just not great. Best dish was the Pork & Wagyu Beef dumplings. Total $217 with two cocktails. Still searching for a good degustation place...

This place was fantastic! Great atmosphere and decor, wonderful attentive staff. Serving sizes are quite small, we found that about 5 dishes with 3 of them being sides was a good amount for us. Favourite dish by far was the Konbi cured Black Angus sirloin with mushrooms. Both the meat and the mushroom were insanely juicy. We also loved the wagyu beef dumplings and the kingfish sashimi - both were ridiculously tasty. The only thing we found a tad disappointed was the duck breast. Texture was great, but it came sitting in a soup which had an unexpected tangy taste to it. Maybe a more adventurous

Bar H has shifted its menu recently and I am not sure if it is a hit...
The previous menu had hero dishes on it that really stood out like the pork buns, seafood dumplings and steamed fish fillet. With simple sides and accompaniments.
The new menu does not have the style of the last with some over spun dishes that have a ton of elements that leads to confused dishes.
However you can't beat Bar H for a lovely spot to grab some food and lovely drinks. To be fair my rating is comparing Bar H to itself and is definitely a spot you should try out.

Let me put this out there straight away: you might be tempted to skip the crispy fried old man saltbush. But you'd be wrong - dead wrong. There's something special in that old man saltbush and once you slather that, er, delicate bush in chilli mayo, the truth will set you free.
Once you've melted that hurdle, you'll easily slide into the more comfortable section of this sexy menu like the stir fried mushrooms, pork buns, sichuan spiced eggplant - and of course - the silken tofu with blackbean and chilli. Everything we ordered was lovely from the drinks (ch-ch-check the happy

After passing by Bar H multiple times, I finally made it on over for a 7-course dinner thanks to one of those online vouchers. You would probably think because it's multiple courses, that the portions would be small but by about the 5th dish, I was starting to struggle. Our lovely dinner included the following dishes:
1. Deep fried old man salt bush w/Sichuan pepper & lemon (my first time eating saltbush and it was tasty!!)
2. Steamed pork wontons w/shellfish & chili oil
3. Steamed beef bun
4. Braised W.A. octupus w/fresh cucumber kimchi
5. Chilled silken tofu w/ginger & shallot

Bar H is my kind of place. They have a FANTASTIC drink menu featuring a great selection of wine and craft beer, artful cocktails and some tasty looking Asian-inspired bites all very reasonably priced. Good tunes and candlelight give the place a sexy, sophisticated yet unpretentious vibe and the service is super friendly.
They're located about a block away from Wentworth Avenue near Central Station but a world away from the hustle and bustle. Great place to come relax with a few glass of red or a few cold ones.

It's dark, it's small, and it's oh-so delicious.
The concise yet interesting menu at Bar H proves the consideration behind each dish, with execution of meals to match. My old office was just around the corner, and co-workers and I would relish any excuse to head here for an after work drink and share plate or two.
The menu has since changed, but at the time we would return for the mulloway sashimi dressed with soy sauce, orange zest and shredded pickled beetroot - delicate, zingy and fresh. The cucumber salad with white anchovies and vinegary dressing was also a great play on
