SA health recommends rain water tanks to be cleaned every 2-3 years, in some cases more often! Our cleaning process involves using pumps to vacuum the sludge off the bottom of the tank, water is required for this but we use as minimal as possible. These images show the thick layer of sludge that accumulates on the floor of your tank being vacuumed out, and after cleaning.
We can also do a full tank cleanout which requires emptying the tank and high pressure cleaning out of all sides within the tank. Tank Care SA also remove old tanks, install new tanks, water filters, first flush diverters, clean gutters and all other tank maintenance.

Services
We are a small family owned local SA business, established in 1989. It is now run by John (who you may meet to clean your tank) and his partner Jenna (who you'll speak to on the phone) They are new parents to their baby boy Levi (who you'll probably hear in the background of phone calls). It is our goal to keep rainwater healthy and clean for everyone.
