In 1945 Bill and Molly Flemming started an electrical business in Mylor. In 1952 they relocated to Meadows. John Buckley started his apprenticeship in 1953 and in 1954 the business name was firsted registered. In 1970 John and his wife Marion took over the business. In 1982, their son Ian began his apprenticeship.
