In 2018, me and my husband Craig have decided to move from Sydney down to the beautiful South Coast of NSW. We now live near the Milton / Ulladulla / Mollymook area. Since then I have established my own design focused multi-disciplinary studio Fox & Wolf Design. I deal with projects of the Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla Councils.

Hi, I'm Jana and I am a senior building designer. I gained my Masters degree in Architecture in Germany, Berlin 2010. After graduation I have to decided to work and travel in Australia for a year, but plans changed along the way and decided to extend my trip. The rest was history. Since moving down to the South Coast of NSW near Milton, I have established my design focused multi-disciplinary practice Fox & Wolf Design.
I offer a holistic and bespoke building design service which will be tailored to your needs. This means I help you bring your ideas to paper. Or if you wish, I can help you with design suggestions to get the best outcome. In either case, I always work collaboratively with the client. As a consequence, I will make sure that you are wholly satisfied with the end result.
With this renovation in Milton my Client had a good idea of what they wanted to achieve but they were open for suggestions to improve their dated home. Collaboratively we have created a more inviting country style kitchen with an open plan living and dining area. Part of the renovation was to modernise the family bathroom.
The existing main and ensuite bathroom were dated and unusable for the owners. They were delapidated and on the smaller side. The Ensuite had a tiny shower with a shower curtain which got stuck on their skin whilst having a shower. In addition, there was hardly any circulation space around the basin available to wash hands or brush teeth without bumping into the wall behind you.
A dark and badly laid out 2-bedroom terrace was turned into a 5-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms light-filled family home. The project brings new life to the local area by creating an interesting landmark amongst old tired workers cottages. Preserving the old fragile fabric was paramount for the heritage-listed terrace house.

We met Jana from Fox & Wolf when we were planning renovation work on our lovely Beach Cottage in Rosedale. Jana was incredibly helpful, professional and managed the fact that we were living in Europe, while planning the renovation work in Australia. She put us in contact with all the right people for the DA, did fantastic research for us for various items we were unsure how to source, as not knowing the market. We asked Jana to help us with plans to renovate our bathrooms and convert a laundry into a study/bedroom. She drafted plans for the builder and for our DA. She was practical, & responsive, and her fees were very reasonable. Her ideas were very clever, and helped us make the best of the small space we had. I highly recommend her for any size project.

We hired Jana for a project where we completely renovated 2 bathrooms and turned our laundry into an extra room. She provided detailed plans for our builder and for our DA. She was a great sounding board for our ideas, helping us translate them into workable plans. But she also had excellent suggestions we never would have thought of, such as using a folding shower screen instead of a fixed panel to make our awkward shower area so much more practical and flexible. Another idea of hers that we will do in phase 2 of our renovation will allow us to easily add an entire long wall of storage and rationalise
