Jake is the owner-operator of Gold Coast Stump Busters, and has lived and worked on the Gold Coast his entire life. Jake started by working for the company 20 years ago, and over the years developed his expertise in tree stump grinding and removal – so when the opportunity came up to purchase the company 15 years ago, he jumped at it.
Since then the business has gone from strength to strength. Now a qualified Arborist, Jake takes great pride in making troublesome tree stumps disappear. His years of experience climbing and removing trees gives him a greater insight into the best way to remove the remaining stumps.

This is a video of Jake grinding a Gum tree stump in a paddock in Gaven. He is using the Bandit SG-40 Grinder which is a very powerful machine with 38HP engine yet still narrow enough at 750mm to access most yards. The site is left leveled and ready for the customers next project.

Did a great job using their initiative. I wasn't home and I live in a gated estate. They found their own way in and went about their job. The stump grinder wouldn't fit down the side of the house so they walked for at least a kilometer through the golf course to get it to my property. Really impressed with initiative shown and quality of job. December 2109-I had Jake and the team back to remove some more trees and it was done on time, with a minimum of fuss and my property left very clean. The price was very reasonable considering others wanted a lot more.

Jake and his crew from Gold Coast Stump Busters removed a couple of huge palm trees from my front yard. I was very cautious as to who I picked to do the job because these trees were very close to the house. But I don't know why I worried, Jake had these down safely in pieces in no time flat. They ground the stumps to below grass level and took away all the mess. The grass has grown back and you would never know trees were once there I highly recommended this business. Don - Paradise Point
