Chris utilises his broad experience to provide customers with expert consultation about design and selection of materials.
With over 22 years of experience and more than 1000 asphalt driveways under our belt, we understand what our clients want and how to deliver beyond their expectations. Asphalt, also known as bitumen, has long been used for roads and runways globally. There's a good reason for that. It's strong, hard wearing and flexible.
We're constantly impressed by the driveway designs potential clients come to us with. We believe it's our can-do attitude, backed up by our 22+ years of experience, that convinces them to let us handle their asphalt driveway or other project. Noticed small small cracks in your asphalt? It's important to carry out your asphalt repairs, which are relatively inexpensive, before your driveway gets too far gone. If you don't, you may need to have it completely torn up and replaced. If your asphalt has started to crack, now is the time to have it repaired.
XLAsphalt are car park paving experts. Only teams with considerable experience can lay car parks. Mass excavation, water run-off, soil integrity and load bearing are all variables that must be considered prior to commencement. There's also the logistical mapping that we'll help with, as we know how important it is to get the most car spots from your given project area.

Chris and he’s team have just recently finished asphalting my drive way, and to say I’m impressed is a understatement. From the initial talks and quote we were really impressed with Chris’s professionalism. He and his team are very friendly and easy to work with, their attention to detail is amazing, they transformed our old driveway, paths and caravan pad even removing a curved stone wall and rebuilding it to widen the entrance. I would highly recommend Chris and his team at Excel Asphalt for any asphalt needs. I had my driveway resurfaced and repaired and it looks fantastic. Chris and his team were always on time, courteous and kept me informed of everything throughout the process. My husband was super impressed by how clean they left the premises after they had finished. All rubbish was removed and everything was hosed down to leave it looking spotless. Thanks Chris! Chris and his team have recently completed our new driveway, and it’s everything we had hoped for and more!
His service is consistently reliable. From setting a date to come and quote, providing the quote quickly, agreeing on a start date and working around Covid lockdown dates, his communication was excellent.
We had a sizeable semi circular drive created, which required much garden demolition, shrubs and rocks moved, along with significant drainage installed. Chris did the lot with a minimum of fuss and was always happy to answer our questions.
