Greg was born and bred on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is a former shipwright/boatbuilder. After completing his boatbuilding apprenticeship in Sydney, he spent time in Perth building luxury class vessels. Throughout this time he was consistently laying beautiful teak decks on boats of all sizes.

When he returned to Sydney he gained his carpenters licence and immediately started building domestic house decks. Thirty years of building decks has made Greg and his building team highly experienced and ready to tackle any type of decking, patio or pergola construction job. They are also experts in repairs and maintenance and can provide advice on the best type of care your deck will require.Completion of Advanced Certificate in Building Supervision (Builders License Course): 1st in course 1998.

I cannot praise Greg and his team enough for the quality of workmanship on a difficult site around and out of square, out of level above ground pool. Using Evalast Caribbean Coral composite decking, the finished job is impeccable. I highly recommend Precision Decking.

Greg and his team re-built my upper deck and replaced the roofing and underlying support structure. The communication and expectation setting was excellent - best I've experienced. He and his team are absolute professionals and craftsmen. During the design phase, they were creative in finding a solution that fit my needs and budget. I have no hesitation in giving Greg and his team 5 stars. Greg is remarkably responsive to communications, well organised, discussed all options upfront and is a very friendly guy. The deck was being built during really bad weather but the team made use of all the available breaks in the rain to get the job done quickly and with zero impact on the rest of yard/ trees etc. Highly recommend them.

Wow - an amazing new deck! My friends, Nicki and Fritz, just got a new deck which looks fantastic. And, it's made from recycled milkbottles - using a new decking product called ModWood Xtreme Guard - Aussie designed, Aussie made and Aussie owned company - looks like timber (but no maintenance at all).
Precision Decking did the work and it looks fantastic - perfect - they certainly did an excellent job (and at a good price, in quick time, with great tradies who were excellent at their craft). Lots of builders in the market but to go with a specialist company who "do decks" meant they got someone

Greg and his Team just finished a new deck for our home in Merrilee Crescent - Frenchs Forest. The quality of the work is simply superb with the finished article exceeding expectations. The carpenters were real craftsmen who worked non stop and actually finished a day early. They were also really great to deal with and even took all our furniture and plants back . Greg did my deck 23 years ago, the service was excellent, quick and on time. He have photos of other work he had completed and references for work he had done, he was also the most knowledgeable of all the quotes i had. The deck is still there as good as the day it was built. I have moved out of Sydney and now looking to have a new deck installed, I was on line when Precision decking popped up. I was so happy with the work and how smoothly the work went.
