If you're renovating and have made the decision to go with exposed concrete flooring in your residential or commercial property, there is a high chance you will have to remove existing flooring covering the slab. Whether it's tiles, laminate timber or some other floor coating the floor preparation division at DS Grinding can help with our floor preparation services.
The whitest floor possible with light grey and white quartz aggregate polished with full stone exposure. The project required a full gloss, hardened and mechanically polished white concrete floor. The custom mix for this project, known as Architectural Grey, was designed in collaboration between Limecrete and DS Grinding.

DS Grinding have done an incredible job with our polished concrete flooring inside our new home and it has exceeded our expectations after 4 months of living with it now. Not only does it look fantastic but… it’s very easy to clean and as the weather has got cooler it is not as cold underfoot as we were thinking it would be. Darren and all the guys we dealt with at DS Grinding were professional and informative every step of the way. Thoroughly reccomend! Absolutely love our polished concrete flooring.

Darren's team did a good job on concrete grinding of the alfresco area for our new build. A year later we decided we wanted more exposure of the aggregate and they did an excellent job. Although a messy process for an existing house with windows, BBQ cupboards etc exposed, they looked after everything and left things very clean.

We had our hearts set on having polished concrete in our new home (a 20 year old home with tiling/carpet). Darren explained that there was no way to know the condition of the concrete underneath, but we went ahead. The guys at DS Grinding did all the prep work and did an AMAZING job at polishing our old concrete slab, it now looks super industrial and just the way we imagined it! Thank you to Darren, Dylan and the rest of the team for doing an amazing job, would 10/10 recommend :)
