Services
Gas Ducted central heating is the most cost effective way to heat your entire home. Ducted heating units can be installed outside, in the roof or under the floor from where the warm air is then distributed throughout your home via a network of ducts. You can choose from a range of 3,4 and 5 star energy rated heaters.
Add-on cooling uses the heating system's ductwork and heater fan to push the cool, dehumidified air throughout your home. The cool air is recirculated and continuously filtered to remove dust and dirt particles. As a refrigerated cooling system requires increased airflow, the ductwork needs to be sized and insulated accordingly.
Evaporative cooling comprises of a unit located on your roof, which is connected to a series of outlets throughout your home. The cooling unit draws fresh air through moistened pads. As the air passes through these pads it is cooled and filtered before flowing through the ductwork to all areas of your home, just like a cool refreshing sea breeze.

We built our first home through Simonds, who made the decision to use Dual Heating and Cooling. After our first month of living in our home, we noticed that all four bed rooms - had no duct work connected to the bedrooms. We contacted Dual, who promised to send someone out. We waited all day, with no tradesman appearing. We called them, who notified us they simply forgot. We rebooked and had a great gentleman rock up days later. Now, 6 months later and while heated Melbourne weather - we have had a tradesman from a third party come out as our Evaporative Cooler wasn’t blowing air, to since realise

Wow same situation as Stuart Tamblyn below. We built through Henley Homes who subbed out the job to these guys. Apparently they sold the unit to Henley and are responsible for the warranty. The ducts have all come apart because the taping has all come off. Talk about shoddy workmanship!
Costed us thousands in wasted electricity, getting other techs to diagnose the problem, and now the all my time wasted chasing them to fix this under warranty! First they denied the job was done by them. Then when Henley got in touch with them, they booked a time to come in, but never showed up! I am at wits end

Been waiting for 9 MONTHS for evaporative air conditioner that they installed, to be repaired - the fan makes loud noise when it's on low speed. I have been calling their worker almost every fortnight for an update but the same excuse: "it's been so busy and all my jobs are on the west side". When there was an agreed time he was a no show due to an emergency, but didn't let us know - I was just waiting for 6 hours before calling him to find out he wasn't coming.
I would recommend dual to anyone who doesn't like timely service or properly functioning air conditioning.

We had a brivis evaporative cooler installed 2 years ago. Graeme was very helpful and gave us a quote over the phone. He dropped the price to lower than another quote we got from a competitor. Installation went well and we are very happy with all aspects of our purchase. Highly recommend this company.
