When you visit our display site located in Hastings, you will be greeted by our team - the owners Chris and Emma Ince, our main man Mick; who has a comprehensive knowledge in building design and council requirements, Ashlea; who also handles the sales and quoting, Maria; our customer service superstar and bookkeeper, Adam; who manages the day to day business operations and Christopher; our busy storeman.
Melbourne Garages - a proud distributor of Fair Dinkum Sheds - is owned and operated by Chris and Emma Ince, who have been in the construction and shed industry for over 17 years. Utilising Chris' wealth of experience, Melbourne Garages are able to accurately and realistically provide tailor made quotes to any specification.
The fact we are a licensed shed builder means we can be as involved in the project as you want us to be. We see the shed purchase cycle as four steps - design, permits, supply and finally construction. Within the four steps, different ways of achieving the required outcome based on the clients needs can be identified.

The team from Melbourne Garages were fantastic. From the initial stages of planning and quoting through to delivery and installation, the team were professional, courteous and helpful. A special mention must go to Rod Gray and Sean who constructed the shed. They are absolute legends who went well and truly over and above with their level of service. They fixed issues with the slab which were not caused by them and them were meticulous and professional. We 100% recommend Melbourne Garages!!!

Fantastic.............some years back I had a terrible experience with another supplier before I chose Melbourne Garages and I wanted local people and local content to build our 6.5 x 15 mtr garage and Chris and the team excelled on every level, Competitiveness, Permits, site preparation, Concreting Time frames, site cleaning and overall flexibility. I have worked with Melbourne Garages on multiple projects with great success. We have 2 large sheds 8 x 20 & 12 x 20 that have been customised which are the envy of my motor sports friends .

When I was looking for a Garage, I looked at 3 companies,
2 were never open and did not return my calls, the 3rd could not have been more accommodating, My phone call was returned and a brochure was emailed directly,I then went to the showroom and looked at the displays
the friendly staff were very helpful and arranged a site inspection.
All was explained in detail,Melbourne Garages arranged all the Permits including Building over a easement,this was hassle free,
All the contractors were on time and pleasant to deal with and left the site clean.
I would recommend Melbourne Garages if you want

I highly recommend the team from Melbourne Garages. They are professional, knowledgeable, helpful & responsive. It was no issue making amendments during quoting, nothing seemed impossible or too hard on my custom built american barn.
I was impressed by the quality of the shed (100% Australian made Bluescope steel) & their recommended installer & concreter both did a great job.

Couldn't recommend Melbourne Garages highly enough.
A great small business to deal with right from out concept stage where we had an idea right through to fixing a small issue after completion that was attended to as soon as possible by them . (Yes you expect this but this doesn't necessarily happen especially if you have already paid your account in full)
Even in these challenging times everyone has been so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
We have known what is happening at all times even when Melbourne Garages have had to manage delays due to build over plan approvals and/or COVID restrictions

My wife and I got a shed constructed early this year. The whole experience with Melbourne Garages went smoothly. They are able to arrange your permits, kit, concrete slab and construction. The staff were very friendly and always happy to answer all of our questions. The tradesmen too were efficient and completed a great job. This is the second time we have used Melbourne Garages. We have also had a pergola constructed a few years ago
