When we decided we wanted to be the most efficient tree stump grinding business possible we invested in more machinery.

We actually bring three (3) different sized stump grinders to your job site. Our larger grinder needing 900mm access, our mid sized machine needing 740mm access and our portable or hand held stump grinder that can be carried if needed to your job site. Our large stump grinder has plenty of direct drive horsepower to take care of the largest tree stumps.

We need 900mm access to get this machine to your site. Our Red Roo stump grinder has lots of horsepower for those jobs where access is a little challenging. We need 740mm to get this versatile machine to your tree stump. We are a customer focused Brisbane business determined to providing you with an outstanding tree stump grinding service.

Just Stumpgrinding is a family operated business situated in Brisbane that commenced operations in tree stump grinding and removal about twenty-one years ago. Through a focus on customer service and doing a good job for a fair price business has expanded constantly over the years.
Tree Stump Grinding Report
Tree stump grinding involves the use of specialised equipment. Stump grinding equipment varies in horse power, maneuverability, and dimension. Usually more horse power equates to faster stump grinding, but there is a price to pay. The price paid for higher horse power is less maneuverability and larger dimension which restricts access.
Tree Stump Removal Brisbane Report
Both methods have their drawbacks. The challenge with using an excavator or back hoe is access, clean up and the root ball removal. Sometimes if the tree stump is small enough a bobcat is capable of pushing the stump out of the ground rather than digging it out. By grinding deep enough to remove the immediate root mass and also to grind following or chasing the surface roots.
Tree Root Ball Grinding and Removal Brisbane Report
When the Brisbane storms hit and trees are blown over and the tree has been removed what is left to deal with is a tree rootball. We have the experience to deal with tree rootballs. Normal stump grinding machines have a grinding wheel maximum height of approximately 30 - 50 cm. This height doesn't allow for the grinding of a rootball.

We’ve used Just Stump-grinding twice now. They show up when they say they will, they give you an immediate on-site quote and then do the job there and then as they have the machines on the trailer. Great price. Alan is great. Highly recommended.

Second time we have used Just Stumpgrinding. Much larger stump this time & in a very awkward spot. The Fig tree stump was 50 cm across & had grown into a side fence & around the bottom rail. It was definitely a challenge but

Got a hold of these guys the next day Alan came out and took apart the stump. Took him 25 minutes to do the last 3 quarters of what had taken me 3 weeks with a reciprocating saw and an axe. Would have been smarter to just get him in at the start and save myself the hassle.
