North Coast joinery is a family owned business that has been continually operated on the Sunshine Coast since 1923. The current owners Allen and Lyn Cox have been running the company since 1987 and currently employ 20 staff with approximately 300 years of combined industry experience in Australia and multinationally.

Shji, from traditional Japanese architecture, is a visually striking design; consisting of transluscent paper over a timber frame holding a styled wooden lattice. Perfect for interior doors or room dividers. Select from a style you like or design your own unique pattern. We can use traditional Shoji papers in different textures and Shoji papers with a protective coating for a pleasing aesthetic and lasting practicality.
Manufacturing quality timber windows is a specialty of ours. Timber is ideal when it comes to choosing warm and natural colours. We use a variety of sustainable materials, which will not only look great, but also consider our environment. Bruce has been a dream to deal with. His knowledge and advice second to none with no question too trivial to explain. His patience with the evolving plan changes was always coupled with helpful suggestions. NCJ pricing was also very competitive. I wish my residence had more projects for NCJ to be involved with. I cannot recommend this team highly enough .

As an interior designer on the Sunshine Coast I would highly recommend Bruce and his wonderful team at North Coast Joinery. Very professional staff and they made a large western red cedar bi-fold set of doors for my job and installed it beautifully. It weighed and ton and access was not easy, but not a problem for this crew. So refreshing to work with Aussie Traides who don't whinge, but just get in and get the job done.
The end result is stunning and only took a few weeks from quote to install.
