Stone Effects knows every kitchen is as individual as its owner, be it reconstituted / engineered stone, granite or marble. Our team will provide the highest quality engineered stone, granite & marble kitchen benchtops with unmatched service. Our stone suppliers include CaesarStone, WK Marble & Granite, Quantum Quartz, EssaStone, SmartStone, Project Stone, Fine Stone, SnB stone to name a few.
Generally engineered (man-made) stone comes in one of two sizes 3000mm x 1400mm or 3200mm x 1600mm +/-50mm. They are also very heavy, 20mm engineered stone weighs approximately 50kg/m2 or 250kg/slab. Engineered stones now come in a variety of different finishes, polished, suede, concrete, matt and rough.
A major advantage in waterjet cutting is its cold cutting quality. Allowing materials to be cut that usually would be burned, melted, or cracked by other cutting methods. In contrast, materials cut with waterjet undergo no thermal stress, eliminating such issues. Waterjet cutting is especially useful when cutting complex accurate shapes.

Absoulety disgusting service and terrible install never showed up on time absoulte poor communications left my house in a total mess massive muddy footprints all through the house and black tar glue all over the new benches and absoulety terrible work massive gaps in the stone and treated us like absoulety rubbish terrible service id reccomend avoiding them

I am pained to write negative reviews of businesses, as a small business owner, I know how devastating they can be. However, our experience with stone effects was so terrible I am hoping this review will prompt them to lift their game.
Issues were:
- Stone cut incorrectly (painful, but only a time delay and obviously SE were covering replacement costs).
- Induction cooktop damaged on install.
- Difficulty in obtaining fair replacement/compensation for damage cooktop.
- Had to source a replacement cooktop ourselves.
- Delays in getting replacement stone installed.
- Holes cut for both the
