Proud Furniture

We are a repeat customer of Proud, so when we wanted to get a new lounge we had to include them in our search. We saw some nice modern lounges at a local store in Castle Hill, but they were very pricey and said they would get back to us with a quote as we wanted a custom size - Never did. Proud staff was very helpful and we could have any colour in any configuration and material we liked, was built here in Australia, cost less and delivery times frames were way better for thousands less. Ticked all our boxes so we also purchased another Sofa bed while we there for our granny flat. Check others

After looking around extensively for a lounge we eventually arrived at the Proud furniture showroom in Silverwarer. The experience we had at this shop was worthy of the review that proceeds. On our arrival we were greeted by Ray who was both professional and congenial in his approach to us and was very knowledgeable about the extensive range of furniture on display. It was a pleasure to come to a place like this because there was no pressure to purchase. We felt relaxed and could make a decision on what we purchased based on the information that Ray presented us with as we perused the showroom

I wish there were more places like this! If you're after a new lounge this is the place to go. They have a showroom which lets you see and feel the different styles, sizes and materials. You can either purchase the floor stock or pick one of the styles and have it custom made with your own specifications and choice of materials/colours etc. The staff are super friendly and professional. The prices are very competitive for what you are getting - locally made, high quality furniture with an unbeatable warranty program. Friendly, efficient service. I was welcomed by Debbie who showed me where the recliners were. After giving me a quick briefing, she left me to try out their choices & consider my preference. A few minutes later she returned to offer me a discount as a returning customer & 2GB listener.When I decided on the exact material & other details, Debbie offered me an even better discount so the final price was similar to my last recliner from Proud Furniture 20 years ago!

Not happy with my experience with Prouds Silverwater...have ended up with not what I originally wanted... its so uncomfortable I'm actually going to have to sell it. Ugly colour / hard foam/ itchy material ...altogether very unhappy. Tried to reason with manager and was actually hung up on ! Paid over $2000 . Very Unhappy. DONT BUY FROM PROUDS !!! it would be zero stars but it wont post without me putting 1 star.

I have been using these guys for 12 years! I don't know why someone would buy a lounge from a major retailer when they can choose everything they want in style, comfort - leather or fabric... 100% Australian made! I write this review lying on my new Electric Recliner!!! Thanks again!!!

Recently purchased a lounge at the Proud Silverwater store with heaps of extras. Loved dealing with the Silverwater staff who understood what I wanted and were able to build that into a custom made lounge with accessories for me and my family.
Couldn't be happier with the service, support and delivery of the product.
This is our second lounge from Proud Furniture and wouldn't ever go anywhere else for a lounge.
Highly recommend this company!
