Tree pruning Sydney by Canopy Tree Services. Tree pruning is excellent for encouraging better form and structure in the early stages of growth, light penetration for fruiting, encouraging growth in certain ways, pruning to avoid conflict with service lines, building lines or to limit pest and disease.
The crown thinning process involves the removal of branches without altering the size of the tree. When thinning the crown, we are sensitive to the species, as each tree will react in a different way according to how and when it is pruned. There is an art to performing this type of work that requires a wealth of training, knowledge and experience.
Originating from the Northern Hemisphere Crown Reduction has been used to restrict tree growth both above and below ground, especially where there are movable soils e.g. This work is definitely not suited to Australian natives such as Eucalyptus and Wattles, as the dormant buds that create the regrowth (epicormic shoots) are considerably weaker in their attachment to the point of origin.

We have a very large Leylandii pine hedge running along the back and sides of our property that needed hedging. We moved in 18 months ago and it looks like these pines have never been trimmed. Nick and the guys did an amazing job, they were very respectful of our place, the trees, and our neighbors. The hedge looks great. We get a lot more sunshine in the back yard now.

Highly recommend Nick, Canopy Tree. We had 3 trees removed yesterday and some others cut back, the service was great from all the boys who attended. It was great that Nick could accommodate my day and time slot to come and quote, Nick turned up on time and the service as been exceptional from then. Nick knows so much about trees. I was so grateful to have employed someone who I could trust to look after and clean up my trees.. and still get the job done of removing other ones to clean up. We'd been let down by a few people previously so we were relieved to find Nick's business. He was responsive and professional from quoting right through to carrying out the work. Nick and his team turned up on time and worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and even kindly chipped some extra garden waste we had piled up by our gate on their way out. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

We had two trees removed by Nick - both very close to our house. We found Nick to be very professional, careful and efficient in his approach. He was cooperative in accommodating our requests during the removals and left our yard clean so that it was hard to even notice afterwards that anything had been done. We had a gum tree (Eucalypyus elata) that was struck by lightning and was completely dead. Nick and the guys worked very professionally today to lower its height and make it a suitable habitat for local fauna. They also tidied up surrounding trees removing dead branches and
