I cannot recommend Southside Roofing enough. I had my roof replaced after Hurricane Laura and the staff was INSANELY busy and still, responded to my every call and every text. After the ice storm, I noticed water in places under my carport that I had not had, before. So I called Southside back. They explained to me that after the hurricane they had subcontracted many many licensed roofing contractors to try to get roofs up for people as quickly as possible, but that not all of these contractors were created equal. They immediately had a new crew out at my house, repairing the work that the former

James did an awesome job! Quote was comparable with other companies and the roof was completed two weeks before the promised start date. Everyone was professional and took pride in their work. Premises was constantly being cleaned and inspected. I would definitely recommend James Johnson and Southside Roofing!

As an emergency physician I have encountered probably ~50,000 people administering care to patients from Louisiana to Florida and I’d like them all to know to think twice before doing business with Southside Roofing. I don’t know what kind of business Billy Savely and Coty Richard are running, but it ain’t an honest roofing company.
Two months ago they told me they’d start in 6 weeks, which would’ve been reasonable. One problem: NEITHER of the two houses I had planned to get done with them even had materials delivered yet. NO THANKS. Why tell people a timeline you know isn’t feasible

Been trying to have roof replaced, need two days of rain free weather and I am ok with that, finally after many phone calls it was scheduled, but low and behold, day they are to start, crew is delayed in Lafayette due to rain. So in Lake Charles they are weather watchers but in Lafayette they are not. At time of looking for a roofing company, Southside was attentive and kept me informed, once contract signed silence at times with them keeping me informed. I had to initiate calls for updates. Great customer service throughout my entire experience with this company! John Wayne came out to give us an estimate and explained everything in detail. The workers did a great job and completed our new roof in one day. They left our yard clean and protected my flowers on the side of my house. Our new roof looks amazing, I love the shingle color that John suggested would match our home. We would highly recommend using Southside Roofing.

REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! After Hurricane Laura, we hired Lake Charles Southside Roofing to redo the roof. We chose architectural shingles to replace the architectural shingles that were originally on the house. That type of shingle is rated for 130 mph winds. The roof was replaced after Hurricane Laura and before Hurricane Delta. Nick Simon was supposed to come and inspect the roof before the final payment. He NEVER showed. After Delta hit with 96 mph gusts, we had all kinds of missing shingles from the back side of the house. Now we were told to pay the final balance because the
