With Tradeware Building Supplies having over 32 years' of experience in the timber and building industry, it's safe to say we know a thing or two about wood. It grows on trees! Trees and forests are a valuable and limited resource that need to be carefully managed. Even fast growing trees still take many years before they can be harvested, and then there's milling, transport, treatment, and so on. Merbau and Kwila are the same timber, it's just called different things by different people.
At Tradeware Building Supplies we maintain a comprehensive range of timber and building products in our yard at all times. Apart from the standard items, we keep a variety of extra large and hard to get timbers which you are unlikely to find stocked in other yards. The staff was too busy to help, spoke to three different team members, all the same. One even asked me to tidy up some timber I didn't touch as apparently it was not aligned properly.
I was told they didn't have stock of the timber boards I was after, although I found around 20 of them outside on a shelf.
Driving from Springfield to the store, never again.

Rang on the weekend to find out if they stocked 5.4m lengths of hardwood decking, as we went another timber yard that had run out. We were told that there may be some at the bottom of the pack but that he wouldn't get up to check or get it out if it was on the bottom of the pack. So we went to Bunnings and brought 54m of decking from them for less cost. Will never waste my time with these guys again. Just go to Bunnings, it's just around the corner from Tradeware.

WHAT GREAT SERVICE! We are renovating a house and our builder had asked us to pick up some materials for him. As we drove in my wife and I both commented to each other about how clean & organised the premises were. I parked out ute and before I got to the office I was greeted in the car park by Mitch ( the owner ). Just the day before I spent nearly 1/2 an hour trying to get some assistance at another giant hardware mob. I don't think I have ever experienced such great service.
