The order a building or other structure is demolished can be critical for the health and safety of workers and the general public. The order of demolition will depend on things like the type of construction, location, and demolition method selected. Generally, we demolish buildings and structures in reverse order to their construction, that is, by 'sequential demolition'.
Sequential demolition is carried out in reasonably even stages, commencing from the roof or top of the building or structure being demolished, masonry and brickwork is taken down in reasonably even parts. There is a range of demolition methods we can use, they are either separately or in combination.
Control measures are selected on the basis of the demolition method(s) we use. However, no matter what method is used, the building or structure to be demolished and all its components is maintained in a safe and stable condition so as to prevent the unexpected collapse of part or all the structure.

We can arrange disconnection and abolishment of all redundant Utility Services on your behalf at no extra charge!. At Magill Demolition, we manage the timeline of your project from start through to finish. We will give you a dedicated Job Number and advise you in advance of your project Target Start Date.
Due to our current commitments, we unfortunately have NO earlier capacity, so if your project must be completed beforehand, we suggest you make contact with another demolition contractor to assess their availability. Just a special thanks to Danny and the team. We were very happy with service and would definitely recommend.
• Initial quote was prompt and potential variation associated with non-standard blade concrete footings (high risk in our area) was communicated to us prior.
• Extremely quick to get on top of service abolition… and helpful staff when we phoned with a few queries.
• A delay for work start was communicated well before initial scheduled time and was understandable given atrocious weather days prior… not to mention that COVID thing!.
• Work was done in very timely and professional

My sisters and I had Magill Demolition demolish our house and it was completed not long ago.
We were thrilled with the ease of using Magill Demolition. They organised everything we needed prior to demolition, which was very handy to us as we were first time demolishers!
Vita and Danny kept us informed at every step of the way, and when it was time for the machine to go on site, it was clear the operator had a lot of experience, and paid a lot of attention to detail.
The site was left beautifully! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Whilst I was happy with the results of the demolition, my neighbour who watched the entire process was most impressed by the care and dexterity demonstrated by the machine operator. Picture this..4 phone calls to different demolition companies..3 of them Google Earth my home and email a quote with no follow up..1 of them...Magill Demolition were the only company to meet me on site, walk… and talk me through the process and then follow it up with a competitive quotation. The demolition of the home and surrounding trees and concrete was efficient, thorough and immaculate. In addition, they completed the entire job ahead of time!!!
