There are many window fabricators, and a number of so called "noise reduction" specialists operating within today's market place, but none have the specialist knowledge and proven results that are available from Sound Barrier Systems. Sound Barrier Systems is a family business and is currently being run by the third generation of window joinery specialists, Tony Angel.
Our Double Glazed Hinged Door system will reduce noise through front entry doors, terrace/house Colonial French doors, and hinged doors leading to balconies in unitss. We custom make our soundproof doors to replicate your existing door or to any design preference. The external doors in your home are one of the weakest acoustic links in the structure.
Our secondary glazing solutions provide high levels of acoustic as well as thermal insulation. Our soundproof windows and double glazed windows suit Sliding, Double-Hung, Casement, Awning, and Fixed windows. In fact all types of windows can be treated with the Sound Barrier System!. Sound Barrier Systems are the experts at the manufacture and installation of soundproof windows and double glazed windows.
Double glazing is an insulating technique where there are 2 layers of glass in a single frame with an air gap in between. When designed correctly, the air gap provides both sound and thermal insulation. Most people perceive that double glazing is the solution to their noise transmission problems but this is not the case.

The guys at Sound Barrier Systems were excellent, very knowledgeable and professional. The quality of the work is first class. Matt coordinated everything very well, and Anthony and Richard were very impressive in putting up three large windows and two double sliding balcony doors in one day. They were even able to get our original blinds back up, saving us a bit of money on the way. The noise reduction is amazing, my wife saying it’s like being on holiday. I was a bit nervous on how much noise would be cut, but they guys kept saying “trust the science”, and they were right. So glad we did

Very happy with the service and result. The new windows align perfectly with the profile of the original. The windows face directly onto a very busy road, now that the new windows have been installed the traffic sound is barely noticeable. I would recommend Sound Barrier Systems to anyone who is looking for a peaceful nights sleep

Stumbled onto Sound Barrier Systems when googling noise solutions at 6am after another sleepless and disruptive night, and very happy I did! We live above a fairly busy road that has been undergoing quite extensive construction. From the first meeting with Matt, he and the team were wonderful to deal with - reliable, friendly, professional and highly skilled. They also were very helpful in assisting with the strata approval process and the price was very reasonable for the scope and effect of the work. Absolutely top notch service from beginning to end, this is the place for professional noise reduction
We have a studio for my husband to play music and were needing enhanced sound proofing on windows and doors. The original windows were too heavy to open properly, and the entrance door was not providing enough of a sound barrier.
After much googling, I found Sound Barrier, and from the first call, which Matt handled, to the measurements with Tony, and the work done by Alfie, Richard and with Matt and Tony both helping and on site, it was an absolute pleasure to have such experts doing the works
