Floating Floors Direct first opened in Hornsby in 2005. Floating Floors Direct supplies Timber Floating Floors, Laminate Floating Floors, Bamboo Floating Floors, Carpet, Vinyl and Cork to both Retail and Trade Customers. We also arrange installation by our trusted installers or can supply you with the accessories required if you'd like to do the job yourself.
Our trusted team of installers will ensure that our quality service continues on from in-store to when your floorcovering is laid. Our installers all have years of industry experience and have worked for the shop since it began. They also provide a workmanship waranty, so you can be assured you are in good hands.
We are an established company that specialises in Floating Floors. We have been in business for a number of years and the majority of our customers are by word of mouth or repeat business. Bill organised everything from loaning out plank samples, site visit for accurate estimate, and most importantly he scheduled the fitting a week earlier from the initial tentative dates.
Matt and Adam’s work is very impressive from prepping the floor up to physical laying of the floating boards. They have the right tools for the job which makes the work quicker, easier, and accurate. They are highly skilled on what they do and cannot fault it.

What can we say? Amazing service, no bill shocks, no funny business. A lot of choice and good advice. They are entirely honest, reliable and friendly. This has been the least stressful aspect of our home renovation. Matt and Adam did an amazing job installing on an existing floor that was challenging because our home is 62 years old. They worked efficiently over two very hot days with no complaints, they solved problems that came up along the way and left our place clean and tidy. We would definitely use this company again.

Awesome, professional, knowledgeable service from Bill and his lovely team. They did a fab job installing floating floors throughout my home. It was a tricky job with lots of different levels and previous floor types. You'd never know now though! Thoroughly recommend them. More recently they fixed up the floor after a bathroom reno which involved moving a doorway. Very experienced and good at what they do!

Not too sure where to begin: 1. Initial discussions with Bill helped us really think about the type of flooring we needed. 2. Then having Bill visit to quote and see for himself was the game changer in terms of the finish we ended up getting 3. Len and the boys with our slate removal were utterly professional and courteous. After they had gone,… there was not a scrap of slate to be seen anywhere 4. Matt and Adam worked like Trojans in laying the floor - again, their professionalism and courtesy were amazing.
