Peaceful Landscapes was set up in 2001 by Dave Limburg, the company boasts over 10 years of landscape design and landscape construction experience across Sydney. We are based on Sydney's Northern Beaches and also service parts of the Inner West, North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs. Peaceful Landscapes garden designs are aimed at the clients needs first and foremost.

Peaceful Landscapes aim to create natural, soothing surrounds. We understand that in this fast paced world people need a place to escape, to relax. By using nature as our muse, we create soft, tranquil gardens geared towards relaxation. Every rock, every plant, every feature is carefully placed to create an even flow within the space.
We draw our landscape design inspiration from a variety of sources. Japanese aesthetics are heavily used (without necessarily looking like a Japanese Garden). We got Dave to help design and build a Japanese garden for our new house, which took a fair bit of trust and courage as it was all done in the midst of a lockdown, but everything turned out to be perfect. Dave was always responsive leading up to to job and was flexible in his approach which we appreciated. He not only did an amazing job putting everything together but even did us a chore as he left. Would strongly recommend anyone looking for a new garden to consider Dave and team!

Dave from Peaceful Landscapes is quite a visionary when it comes to garden design. We commissioned him to create a new backyard garden for us which was unloved for decades and unattractive.
Our brief to Dave was to create a natural looking free flowing garden based on our preferences for the use of native plants, a water feature and materials like stone and wood. He had free reign to use his imagination and experience to come up with a layout that we were happy to sign off.

We had a great experience with Dave and Ross from Peaceful Landscapes creating our beautiful front garden. They were upfront and honest, punctual in the morning, friendly and creative, tidy, and wonderful with the kids and dog. But most importantly is the outcome of our lovely front garden that all our neighbours love as much as we do. I couldn't recommend Peaceful Landscapes enough.

We recently used Peaceful Landscapes to landscape our house in Freshwater on Sydney's northern beaches.
They did a fantastic job. The landscape design was creative and perfectly suited the tropical garden look we were after.

Peaceful landscapes recently transformed our front courtyard and rear garden and we are really happy with the result. We knew broadly what we wanted and Dave was able to suggest specific designs with pavers and plants to suit the feel and flow of the gardens. Dave was conscious of our budget and came in under our expectations whist completing the job in record time. A great result.

After some recent major infrastructure changes our back garden was decimated and we realised we needed a professional landscaper's help to restore and improve what had previously been an extremely pleasant outdoor space, lovingly evolving over the 20 years we have lived here.

I had been dreaming of a transformation of our neglected and over grown garden to a beautiful outdoor living space with Balinese/Japanese feel to it. The day Dave came around to see our place, I realised it would come true!!
He had sent me a design, list of plants with photos and detailed work scope in no time.
Dave constantly communicated with us with his opinion and suggestions yet ever willing to take in my "wants" and "prefers"
Now I have a gorgeous tropical/oriental style backyard with plenty of living space. I will have a wonderful summer and years beyond sipping my favorite drinks out
