They gave us a variety of options to choose from and were able to perfectly colour match the doors to what we needed. Once ordered the doors arrived extremely quickly and PDS installed the very next day.

Merlin motors themselves were not too bad, however the installation work suffers from incomplete installation including no power was supplied to the motor, old locking mechanism was not remove which was discussed . Poor wiring exposed and visible. Motor occasionally experiencing friction lowering door. Remotes programmed incorrectly two needed replacing but I had to handle this myself via Merlin not via the installer. Merlin remote range is not good enough I tried extending using a Merlin remote extender kit then gave up and now use external triggers via another remote control system. Found the

I was in two minds about getting my 50 yr counterweight tilt door (although 50yrs old its built like a tank) automated, I had been leaving with if for 12 years and by the end I was over the manual operation. In the end I was more than happy to get it automated, not many companies would even attempt doing the job as it is complex for someone who has no idea. I was recommended PDS by another company in Dandenong and they exceeded my expectations. An absolute professional outfit. 5 stars!

My garage door had issues with its roller bearings. I had been quoted ridiculous amounts for a repair and most service guys didn't take the time or trouble to correctly identify the issue. This was not the case with PDS. The service was carried out on-time and was quite a simple fix in the end, once the actual issue was identified. All done within the hour at a very reasonable cost.
I would definitely recommend PDS Garage Doors & Gates.

Called for a quote on Monday, guys rolls up on Wednesday (with courtesy call 15mins out) and nailed it. Prior guy said the motor needed to be replaced and couldn’t stop the squeaking, auto closed and creaking. Nathan quotes the job, did it and fixed it up, then reduced the quote by $50 as it didn’t take as long as he thought! Awesome job!! 3 month warranted!

Nathan was fair and skilled - he improved our very old garage door situation as much as it mechanically could be, and gave great advice about next steps. He was polite, friendly and explained things to me so I could get on board with the problem/solution. We'll definitely go back to them when it's time for a new motor (ie very soon).

Very very happy. We had an issue with our motor. Our door was not aligned properly so we were advised by another supplier that we required a new door, as well as a motor. I found PDS through google and was guided by their great reviews. Booked an appointment late Friday, they turned up on Monday, and by the time I got home a replacement motor was up and running, and with a bit of realigning no new door was required. Door behaves like new, and the motor was very reasonably priced to boot. Thanks PDS. Will recommend to others for sure.
